MEGES, etis, Gr. Μέγης, ητος, des Phyleus Sohn, einer von den Freyern der Helena. Apollod. l. III. c. 9. §. vlt. Seine Mutter war Eustyoche, Hygin. Fab. 97. und gieng er hernach mit LX oder vielmehr nur XL Schiffen seiner Leute von Dulichium mit vor Troja, Homer. Il. Β. v. 630. hielt sich auch hieselbst so wohl, daß er den Pedäus, Id. ib. Ε. v. 69. und, mit Beyhülfe des Menelaus, auch den Dolops erlegete; Id. ib. Ο. v. 525. blieb aber doch zuletzt auch noch mit in der Schlacht. Dicl. Cret. l. III. c. 10.
